ISLAMABAD: Jamait Ulema-I-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that the government and its secret agencies incite already ‘existing sectarian element’ in the society.
He said how come peace could be destroyed in a country with out backing of a ‘small group’ by state organs.
Speaking to media after a meeting with veteran lawyer SM Zafar, he said that Pakistan was facing terrorism, adding all that was being carried out under an international agenda.
He stressed the need for harmony within all sects.

We strongly condemn terrorist acts against Ahle Tashee. Those behind these cowardly actions are enemies of Pakistan. Pakistan belongs to all Pakistanis regardless of religion, sect, language or ethnicity. It is time for our security agencies to be answerable. These incidents have been happening for a while now. Who is behind these acts of terrorism? Why are these elements still at large?
