The law creates this extremism mera bhai. If this law didnt exist, Taseer would never have had to defend that poor Christian woman for her supposed and unconfirmed blasphemy. This law creates an atmosphere of hostility and instigates this sort of violence.

Extremism creeped up in the society before this law was introduced. Extremism began with Afghan invasion by Russia when Saudi money started flowing in then militant orgs like SSP propped up. So either we try to fight the tree or we cut the roots, the law is now a ‘tree’ while the extremism is ‘root’.
