I am sure pmln supporters would agree with this observation of the Lahore high court (as they are champions of free judiciary). The federal government should now develop the guts to arrest Imran and qadri and try them on the accounts of terrorism. I am sure with the independent judiciary in place it would be easier to punish these two as compared to mumtaz qadri and malik ishaq.

Now when I think back PPP's handling of Qadri's previous long march was far superior. In a few days they sent him packing back after 'negotiations'. I don't know if the present regime wanted to tire the protesters this time around or a big ego was coming in between. Four months since the protests began the image of the government has reduced to a hapless and confused institution. The people are getting fed up and the government does not know what to do.

I agree with you. I favour him to be hanged, at least Pakistanis will get some 'justice'. Can the government do that is the question. Their members keep on alleging terrorism on him and initiating cases. It's about time they arrested him and started proceedings if they are interested in getting the state writ restored. Empty statements are reducing the country to a banana republic.

government has the arrest warrant to be used when and where it deems necessary. the non-bailable arrest warrant is an insurance against IK and T-u-Q when things get really out of hand and their ouster becomes more imminent.

i can give them the address of Imran khan at least. He can be found on top of a container most nights in Islamabad doing a Mujra. :) Imran and qadri have tons of terrorism cases on their heads, not arresting them now is only painting the regime in a bad light. Not sure if that concerns them though.

Yes some PPP faces too in Pti. Anyways that's not the question. We are faced with a situation where the state appears to have lost its writ and not serious to regain it back.
