the IDP situation is indeed bad. But no matter how good the gov't plan could've been in that regards it's still 2 million people, things would have gone awry. I'm of a belief that sometimes a nation must sacrifice with their blood to pave the way for a better future. some bold steps have to be taken regardless of how bad things become short term, history is full of examples of nations like that. It was Abraham Lincoln's bold step to end slavery even if it meant a civil war and though, it resulted in half a million dead but paved the way for America to emerge as a super power on global front. Imagine, when in coming few weeks Pak army totally destroys taliban, they're fighting in the streets of Mangora right now, imagine they win over there and there are no more talibans, or very little pose any threat. No more suicide bombings, no more blowing up of girls schools, no more floggings of women, no more all the inhumane things they have done, what is that worth?
