Islamabad- Government has decided to contact the British government to pursue the FIR, filed by Rangers, against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
According to reports, the copy of the FIR lodged against Altaf Hussain, has been received by the Interior Ministry and three points regarding Altaf Hussain’s possible handover are being examined. Sources claim that Altaf Hussain’s handover with the help of Interpol will be examined in the first phase. In the second phase, Altaf Hussain’s return under the agreement on exchange of criminals will be examined while providing proofs against Altaf Hussain to Scotland Yard will be examined in the third.
It is pertinent to mention here that the case against Altaf Hussain had been registered by Colonel Tahir of Rangers. The FIR quoted Altaf Hussain’s statements on a TV show ridiculing the Rangers and threatening their lives. The FIR also included the sub-section H and N of the Article 7 (80) – A of Terrorism Act and Article 506 for threatening to kill. The FIR No. is 2015/30 and the FIR quoted Altaf Hussain as saying that the Rangers officials who had attacked his house in Karachi would ‘soon become history’.
SSP Investigation-1 Faizullah Korejo has been charged with investigating the matter. It is the first case registered against Altaf Hussain since 1992. Dozens of cases had been filed against Altaf Hussain in 1992.
MQM delegation visited Civil Lines Police Station to get a copy of the FIR, but none of the officers was present at the police station at that time so the delegation left.

They have to ship witnesses like Saulat Mirza and Umair Siddiqui to UK and make sure they stand in the courts to testify against AH.
Now the bigger problem is that, it wont still be able to harm AH since these two are mere witnesses but no solid proof. So then it becomes very important to narrow down the case of Dr. Imran Farooq and find witnesses in that case and then you'll see UK govt taking actions promptly otherwise these two will end up in just confessions by convicts on death row

**ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Thursday confirmed that the Ministry of Interior (MoI) had handed some important documents over to the British High Commission about the case registered against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

Talking to the media here after addressing a conference on “Afghanistan Reconnected” at a local hotel, he said the Ministry of Interior was in touch with the UK authorities on the MQM issue. Afghan groups to start the dialogue process.
He expressed the hope that with the efforts of international community, the dialogue process will resume soon.Referring to the economic conditions of Afghanistan, he said it needed a lot of help from the international community. He said to ensure economic development, Afghanistan’s political issues should be resolved on a priority basis.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan always desired strong economic and trade relations with Afghanistan.
He said the government had increased its engagements with the neighboring countries for good relations.He said a number of decisions had been taken by the government to remove the trade impediments with the neighbouring countries that would help enhance the trade volume.Referring to Pakistan’s ties with Afghanistan, he said both the countries were pursuing a liberal visa policy to give an impetus to trade and economic ties.

If important documents have been handed over to British authorities NOW. This means Imran Khan was absolutely right when he was saying for all those year that he did whatever he could to bring down Altaf Hussain, but it is the government of Pakistan which is holding off important evidence! So I wonder how his haters feel now? So much for crying and wailing that how dare Imran filed the case against Altaf Hussain in the UK, and how dare Imran Khan the man 'personally failed to prosecute' Altaf Hussain. Hawww Hayeeee...
Anyway, on that note, Ch. Nisar denies handing any documents to the British authorities. U-turn or PMLN's secret alliance with MQM? You know the usual rubbish people chat...

Anyone who supports any kind of militant activity must be banned and be punished. I have been saying since begining that aside from MQM, PPP is also involved in target killings and murders. If the evidence are there..all those Uzair boloch mentioned..should be tried in courts and case be registered against them.
Time has come..where we need to dis-arm talibans..but also these political militants wings. I am very glad, Government now has handed over whatever documents that they need to try Altaf Hussein in (military) court.
