I don’t understand why our Western trained forward looking PM be kissing up to these Hamasi Maulvis. Any such move reduces Abbas’s position. And by gollie that guy needs as much support as we could provide.
Hamasis live in the past. Fighting for Palestine should have been over in 1948. Fiddi-Fiddayines and their followers like Hamasis made the situation worse by fighting $tupid tribal-style wars against a modern Israeli army. Tribals may still be somewhat successful in the short run in the hilly or jungle terrain. But the flat desert do not offer any such protection. And guess-what? War of 67 resulted in even more losses.
Now the same Fiddis are begging for Israel to go back to 67 boundaries.
