ISLAMABAD (AFP) - Pakistan pledged to donate three million dollars to the Palestinian Authority which is facing a financial crisis after a western aid freeze to its Hamas-led government.

The gift was announced by Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri during a meeting with the Authority’s visiting foreign minister Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a foreign ministry statement said on Wednesday.
Al-Zahar briefed the Pakistani side on “the current economic hardships being faced by the Palestinian people as a result of the withholding of international financial assistance,” it said.
Kasuri said the donation was to help alleviate the “plight of the Palestinian people.”
The United States and the European Union suspended aid after the radical Islamic group Hamas won elections in January. The boycott has left the Palestinian Authority on the verge of bankruptcy.
The statement quoted Kasuri as saying that “Pakistan remains steadfast in its support to the Palestinian cause.” He called for “complete withdrawal of Israel from the occupied Arab territories and the establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian state.”
But let me remind you this Islamic Bhaichara is working only one way. Try to get view of pakistani people working under palestanian managers or bosses in middle east, and see how they get shafted from the same brothers.

Hamasis live in the past. Fighting for Palestine should have been over in 1948. Fiddi-Fiddayines and their followers like Hamasis made the situation worse by fighting $tupid tribal-style wars against a modern Israeli army. Tribals may still be somewhat successful in the short run in the hilly or jungle terrain. But the flat desert do not offer any such protection. And guess-what? War of 67 resulted in even more losses.
Now the same Fiddis are begging for Israel to go back to 67 boundaries.
