I refer to your this and the previous email both sent in true
fervor for the muslim umma. May Allah reward you. But there is
more than meets the eye in this case.
Abdul Razzak Yaqoob is a memon; so am I. And who would know the
mindset of the tycoon better than a fellow memon. That bearded
person the Haji sahib, would be more interested in his Gold
business which as we all know requires the support of large
establishments including governments and their agencies to
facilitate in their legal and not-so-legal transportation of gold
in their inter-country businesses. These are the people who are
“used” always, as in the past too, sometimes for apparently good
national causes but sometimes like perhaps in this case, also for
horrendous purposes like destruction of a whole nation’s moral
fabric. Unfortunately, once these tycoons agree to act as the front
by setting up for example a media channel like ARY, they themselves
hardly even watch their programmes and know nothing about what is
going on in them. In
fact they are not supposed to. And they don’t care so long as the
other party is meeting its end of the bargain for them.
The result is obvious. While Mr. ARY may be the paper-owner of the
channel, the real people and policies behind the channel are
independent and are directed by “others”. Recall the recent
incident when Salman Iqbal (the son or nephew or ARY) resigned from
the CEO’s position? The matter was never known as to what caused
this successful CEO to quit. There were rumours about internal
differences. However, immediately after Salman’s departure the
channel acquired a new color and theme which is now the cause of
discussion..
If you look closely, the whole concept of “modernizing” Pakistan,
exterminating the actively Islamic minded people from the current
generation and distancing the new generation by appropriate policy
changes in the school curricula, giving the carrot of apparent
economic prosperity and stupidly lenient consumer loans to keep the
masses pacified, allowing freedom of illicit sex unquestioned
behind closed doors , promoting the concepts of not only
homosexuality but also transsexualism (as is being telecast in one
of ARY serials) and bringing in neo-maulvis as enlightened scholars
to distort Islam through a systematic multi-pronged strategy is all
well knit into a grand master plan. So it seems. I may be wrong
though, as this is my hypothesis which can be proved wrong only by
Mr. ARY by reversing the polices of the channel.
I pray to Allah that Mr. Abdur Razzak Yaqub wakes up in time and
repents and makes his taubah. He is surely making his way for
jahannum if he is allowing all this with his knowledge and consent,
even if he is allowing without his consent.
I wish that CEO of ARY who is also a recipient of this email lets
Razzak Bhai to read this email. Unfortunately I do not have his
direct email address. What is needed is to make ARY himself aware
about what is happening in his channel. I am quite sure he doesn’t
know.
Let us all make dua and in the meanwhile; the direct action is
simple: BOYCOTT ARY. I have already registered my complaint with my
cable operators and may sever the contract in a few days if they do
not remove ARY from the circuit. We need to spread the original
message I had sent to all our individual mailing lists to raise the
awareness quickly. With more than 2000 recipients (many of them
“planted” I know) of this email individually sending to their
mailing lists Allah will help us spread the message quickly far and
wide.
Nasrum minnallahi wa fathun qareeb.

THE ORIGINAL EMAIL
Assalam o alikum
The time is fast approaching for the believers to be separated
from the unbelievers from the body of so-called muslims. This is the time
when the muslims for namesake are being tested and sorted out by Allah
Subhanhu.
Please make dua for our mutual Iman.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullah respected Ustazah
Yesterday I learnt of a TV show which was aired on ary
digital TV on the 10th of January, a talk sow called “talking Divas”.
The topic was homosexuality. It was an extremely upsetting and disturbing
show. The participants included Muslim girls and boys, Pakistanis, who
openly called themselves gay/lesbians.They were fully prepared, quoting
ayat numbers from Quran and misinterpreting facts. A few of their quotes
(gist) were as below:
Homosexuals are wrongly perceived as being promiscuous.
Most homosexuals are only looking for love and care.
The concept of a family unit has changed. You don’t need a
father and a mother to raise a balanced child. Prophet Muhammad
(saw) had an excellent personality without children.
This program is breakthrough in Pakistani social history.
We encourage youth, specially oppressed lesbian girls, to come
out of the closet. Like a movement, we will be making support groups for
gays.
Islam is a personal religion. We should interpret it according to
how we understand it.
Islam promotes diversity. So gays and homosexuals are ok in
the eyes of Allah because Islam does not mind variety and differences
in people.
Homosexuality is genetically inherited.
Quran prevents “Faahisha” …Lust…not
homosexuality.Homosexuality is about love not lust.
Gays should have the right to raise kids too.
There are lots of examples in Muslim history of important homosexuals.
Celebrities like Amin Gulgee and Ather Shehzad are openly declaring
themselves as gay.
The Quran never said anything about homosexuality. The ayats say
“men” should not be with “males”. Males here means male animals, so
Allah is not against Adam with Adam but Adam with animal.
The story of Loot (as) has nothing to do with homosexuality. The
crime of this nation was highway robbery and rape.
The Quran forbids satisfying desire with anyone other than wife. So
it forbids adultery, not homosexuality.
They encouraged feedback and comments on this e mail address:
I have told my students to send e mails in protest and write letters to
editor in newspapers. But this is so shocking and upsetting. What do we
do about this fire eating away at the moral fabric of our ummah’s youth???
how true is this. as i don’t live in pakistan and rarely watch ary, any person with knowledge can confirm this? what’s the story here?
well, this ARY guy is a businessman so his main aim is to earn money....
i think the worst of his channels is the religious QTV which really is presenting a distorted view of Islam....
but i hear he has now started some fashion channels as well....

Oh Lord, what rubbish so according to that interpretation its ok for men to be with female animals?
The program is yet to air here in USA, I want to see it for myself before I believe all of this.
We can close our eyes, we can turn TV off, we can pick sticks and force ARY out of Pakistan, we may even force ARY to shut down altogether, would that mean our iman will become safe? Would that guarantee our new generations or weaker-faith people will not see any Islam maligning programs, documentaries, websites? Answer: NO.
IMO, things like these call for one thing mainly, strengthen your imaan and educate your family/children to the best of your efforts and don't leave them to be raised by society only then you can have some assurance/satisfaction that you really have done something to protect the moral fabric of the society.
yes QTV is going into people's homes and putting guns to their heads to call in with their problems asking for taveez gandays and fatwas 'in the light' of Islam.
want to stop this nonsense.. stop calling!! but then the program only caters to what the people of that region want and do everyday... which is why it's such a huge success.

Post a link to the program so that we can watch it for ourselves.
You know what really amazes me? The only thing which gets you Paki ppls chaddis in a twist is homosexuality, even the otherwise "moderates" and "liberals" start playing 'holier than thou'.
It might be sinful but homosexuality is not the only immoral act in Pakistan or the world, none of you complain about women dressing immodestly and unislamically making themselves the cause for the fornication (zina) of the eyes of stranger men, some of you will even go as far as to misintrepret a verse of the Kalaam-e-Moqadas to suit your whims (it's not saying chador, it just asking to wear a top, a boobtube fulfills the requirement of jilbab rolleyes), just because it's become the custom in your cultures and doesn't feel that bad it isn't serious..
So either condemn all unislamic acts and don't be a part of them or stfu.

this has got to be the most retarded thing i've ever heard.
What do you think about Aaj? I considered ARY as a conservative channel as compared to Aaj TV. While ARY talks about Shahid masud's Qiamat ka manzar, Aaj is telecasting Begum Nawazish Ali Show etc...
I dont watch ARY because of how liberal or conservative it is, but because its just utter crap, the production quality is horrible they cant stick to their schedule. Just because its in urdu does not mean I will throw money to watch this crap.
