Gina, I moved her post but its not because what Shay said was wrong or right. Shay has full rights to speak her mind on any topic and in any thread as a member. She is a very level headed person and knows what she is talking about.

I explained to Shay why her post is no longer a part of this thread and I think she is OK with my reasoning :D

RJ bhai, janaab I am little amazed. I think you are putting your own credibility and reputation at stake by taking such a huge responsibilty on your shoulder, to become spoke person of all show biz people and protect their reputation by justifying their actions, even if they are wrong.

aap ko kitnay aa'nay ka sawaab mil rahaa hai by doing this.

are people wearing bikini on beaches with your permission? if not then why are you putting yourself in the trouble of protecting them.

You must admit that Pakistani TV showbiz is not the same anymore. We dont have well respected people like Subhani ba younus, Mehmood Ali, Mohammed Yousuf, Qurban Jilani, Zaheen Tahira, Najma Mehboob and many many others..

There are only handful of legends from 60's, 70's and 80's are left whom we can all be proud of.

This young generation who is part of show-biz now is not worth protecting (at least not all of them). showbiz people become stars because of what viewers and general public think of them, not what their colleagues think of them.

I am not sure why you are putting yourself in this trouble and having arguments with other GS members.

You think your show-biz colleagues would do the same for you? I seriously doubt it.

first of its not the answer of the question.
and then politicians are the ones who run our countries and if we dont know about their personal character we cant get to know that how he's gona make decision about pakistan.

example if u post a pic of a governor where is using pot, its becomes obvious that he wont be inclined towards baning pot from pakistan, see where m going?

most of our politicians in pak consume alcohol, see thats y its still easily available in pak.

and about show biz ppl, they have a life on screen and behind screen, we got nothing to do with they do behind screen, its their personal life,

and to portray myself as a mullah i would there is no place in islam for bashing someone about his personal life in public. he/she deserves some privacy.

Let me tell you what is not going to happen here. You may throw some attitude, attempt to flame me some underhanded tactics to call my post idiotic or call me things like I am trying to be a hero on a forum. I am not going to stop you from doing that but realize that while you may be able to get under some people's skin, I deal with such stuff on a daily basis, does not bother me

It liek when you play ball with the homies and they smacktalk just to get you off your game so even though their skills aint the shizzle, they get a dunk or two in. What the hood taight me is that you dont get into smacktalk, you use your game to make em into your..well..you know. anyway I digress homes.

What is not going to happen is that I am not going to lose my cool due to such antics, because that is the easy way out, flame someone, and an argument starts, the real questions get sidelined, mod patrol comes in and removes threads.

So do as you will, I am not going to go off my game.

Now lets talk about what is going to happen. I am going to hold you accountable for your words, and accountable for questions posed to you. Having a legal background helps significantly . You may not choose to answer them, as you already tried, but as you also saw, I will not let you just glide past them. If you don’t answer them, your silence infact is giving me answers as well.

Oh and btw, nothing personal, but I have taken out all that color because it was really hurting my eyes. Good god whats the fascination with purple..prince? barney? teletubbies, joker? (just wanted to bring in a little humor here :))

To you, yes, which does not make it a universal fact, nor a correct stance. Blogging, forums, places like secondlife are brimming with pseodonyms. Amazon.com or epinions is full of pseusdonyms giving advise on products. Imdb is full of pseudonyms critiquing movies and actors. So to YOU it may be dead but that is your issue not others. No worries though, we all learn new things every day. No shame in that.

Credibility however is shot when there is a lack of consistency.

1) you don’t watch them
2) you watch them but don’t see anything obscene in them

What you are also doing is confusing the issue by bringing in the topic of privileged information in the mix and saying that you don’t share it, well good for you. But what about when its not confidential information?

Now if the information is public, why is it none of your business? If you can lecture people here about what is proper and what is in line with Pakistani values, why is it giving you a coronary to condemn it. Now you can try to flame me by indirectly calling my post an idiotic onliner and trying to be a hero. When all else fails, flame. Sadly for you, I don’t fall for such gimmicks.

Regardless if you don’t start a campaign, then surely you cant have an issue with someone else saying that was very gher ikhlaqi, against our values, and uryaan. It’s a fact, based on truth, not some hearsay. You can not come down hard at someone if their critique is based on facts.

In my personal view these type of upstart two bit wanna bes that are so amusing, get into show business because the daddy, mommy or phuppar were in show biz whether they themselves have any talent or not, and then the day they step outside Pakistan, you see them in bikinis, hugging na mehrams, drunk as skunks making fools of thsmselves etc yet their ‘showbiz’ kin give lectures about values to pseudonyms on a website.

And if it is none of your bloody business then, then frankly its none of your bloody business to give ppl on gupshup lectures on values and morality either.

the truth finally comes out, you will only protect your showbiz people, even if what is written is true? Tell me why, are you afraid that if you actually say something rather than brown nosing that you will be sidelines by a-listers?

BTW- I will not be watching you on any show. I am allergic to crap TV and Pak TV disgusts me. Ecoshan, i'm not going to counter-argue the hadith u quoted. Politicians as well as showbiz personalities are all humans.. it's not right to have set rules..and make it ok to "bash" one and let the other pass.

People in Pak watch these people on tv..much more than they watch politicians.

celebrities can go dance naked, I dont really care, but I have been observing this for some time and the raju likes to give lectures on values, yet he is associated with an industry with is a cesspool, but that seems to be something where he will not utter a word about it. The argument was that its hearsay, well when its not hearsay then what. but we heard it straight from the horses mouth, that he will not condemn them because it is non of his bloody business in his own words, and that is all I wanted to hear.

celebrities are not here to defend themselves, nor are politicians, or atheletes or businessmen, or companies. That argument does not fly.

my point exactly, this is NOT about celebrities, they are just being used as a basis for silly arguments. this is a war of words which started a few mths back and has blown out of proportion. simple as that.

I dont know what beef people have with each other and its not my concern anyways. They are welcome to have whatever beef they have.My concern is posted above for all to see. Now if for some reason my path is crossing with people with mutual beefs, then its a chance thing, not because I harbor a beef that either of the warring parties and their assorted cheerleaders.
