Gosht and beef?

Last week I cooked gosht. It came out alright, but i made a big mistake-- I left it on the stove overnight, forgetting that since the pilot light is always on, the stove was on all night..so it was cooking overnight as well. The next day it smelled really weird. I tried to eat it but couldn’t. I feel bad about throwing away the meat, until somone told me that I can wash the meat and bhoon it in fresh masala. Meat doesn’t spoil as uickly as masala does, is that true?

Also, normally i defrost my chicken or keema by throwing it in a pot of hot water and changing it every half hour. it defrosts pretty quickly. Is that method safe for beef/goat meat? Am i supposed to boil it first?

Can someone please jsut give me an easy recipe for Gosht-pulao? :bummer:

Nobody? :(

Re: Gosht and beef?

Is it a good idea to defrost with hot water?

Personally I boil the ghost with garlic and ginger. Seems to be the fastest method. I do think you can use the water method as well, but I do think it will take some time.

Maybe overnight in the fridge? Should defrost.
