and there is a big difference between those gory skin and our asian gory skin
no one go for gory skin
ppl go for fair and smooth skin,
like chinese and japanese!

In many societies, fair skin is equated to beauty. So it's definitely not a phenomenon with desi's only. Houri in Islam are described as fair, wide eyed beauties. So the concept of fair equating to beauty has it's roots in religion as well.
Can you provide a source for that?..as long as I know, there is no mention of houri being fair. It's mention that they are beautiful but i dont remember ever reading that they are fair..lol.
This sort of beauty judgement (i.e. fair skin = beautiful) seems to be in only certain cultures. A lot of desi aunties don't find me as attractive because I am olive skinned while people from other cultures (mainly western) find me extremely attractive.

And some ppl actually look past the skin color and love a person for who they are? i can find the goray looking desis attractive but for the most part i’ve liked guys who happened to be dark. i guess color is not high on the list of qualities…

Most of the ppl like gori chamri. I’m from those too. No matter if it offened some black ppl. That is my liking.
Yes only gori chamri is called khoobsoorti in asians. That was the reason I was so amazed that ppl use to call me oh you are too beautiful infront of my sis.
But I liked my sis moe than myself when we use to get ready to attened a party ppl including use to say you are too beautiful. I always try to tell my sister that you are beautifuller than me but she didn’t ever believe that she use to say but you are gori.
I use to tell the truth that I liked her more than myself. Yes sometimes gori chamri looks pheeki and sometimes gori chamri is so attractive.
I alwasys liked sanwali rangut attractive for me. I do give some sort of preference to white color but definition of beauty is different in my eyes.
What I saw mostly black ppl love gori chamri. like thigna like lumbi. etc etc.
In my opinion if you are going to find a girl or boy for marriage then they have to match each other in some sort.
But I also think if person is black or gundumi then they have to find a fair color.
If person is thigna then they have to find tall girl to have balanced kids.
If 2 kalay marry their kids become extremely kalay.
You know our ppl looks for these things for sure.

yeah but i doubt it matters..it’s sooo unaccurate, that being fair is better whether they are fat or not. cz even fat is not attractive by any cultural standards…
