no u r right. they are allowed and i think they are also suppose to convert them or something later on as well. but religion really doesnt matter to guys when they do decide to marry a girl from other religion in the first place. it is impossible to practice two religions in a same house hold unless they are not so keen on religion from the begining. that can happen with a girl as well, what if she is not religious?
its just amazing and hypocritical the whole situation becomes when the table turns around and now its ur daughter who wants to marry a christian or a gora and why shouldn't she, her mom/dad was christian f.. she doesnt see anything wrong with it. and all of a sudden fathers and brothers have a problem?
any mother who would take some stranger's word over her own daughter's is a stupid stupid woman. I understnad the point ur trying to make, but this just really made me sad..
Islam doesnt teach us to discriminate. We are supposed to look at a person's view, approach and practise to religion when choosing a partner, rather than judging ppl from their skin colors.
Be it a gora, kala or peela, I will choose the guy with a good and soft God fearing heart. I dont care what ppl will say, cuz its my life and noonw will come and live it for me anyways.
verizon: that is true.. come to think about it i have never seen a desi getting involved with a kala in america as well. racism? discrimination?..
ppl were jumping up n down when i mentioned gorays mainly because they are married to one but at the same time i have never heard of any desi guy being involved with a kali even though they belong to the same culture as those gorays are. even if they are not trying to discriminate are they subconciously racist?
