Google to End Support for IE6 - PCWorld
Amazing to see is that many companies are still using IE6 on their networks. Its about time to get rid of this flawed piece of crap.

they were using it at the time of the espionage... that's how access to internal systems was compromised.
It's possible that the systems running IE6 were using the browser as a testbed - afterall Google is a Web Apps company.

I know quite a few companies who use IE6 as their ONLY browser. I wont name them here through. But yes it does exist in some places, same as like Windows NT4 exists in some companies/corps.
