Hi Guys,
I want to use Google Talk like Blackberry Messenger, another words it needs to always be on. It logs me off everytime I close the phone.
I have tried some apps like Gotalk, IGtalk and also downloaded google talk app. None of them work. It logs me off as soon as I close the phone. Any other apps I can use which will work like BB?

what you want is an app with push instant messaging, and this is not going to be a free app as it involves a server to push. i dont know if there is one for gtalk (i dont see why not) but there are a few for msn, yahoo, aim, etc.
edit: there is a free one - IM+ Lite which does gtalk push IM.
and crackberry's time is up, unless you are an email-nazi..

Thanks queer. I actually purchased the app called "GoTalk" and it mentioned that it has push notification. But after I setup my account and tested it does not work. As soon as I am off the browser, it logs me off.
I will try IM+lite and see if it works.

You can also try Whatsapp Smartphone messenger (WhatsApp - Smartphone-2-Smartphone Messenger)… they have a version for the iPhone & the Blackberry… I haven’t tried it myself, but its creating a lot of buzz lately, and is a push based notifications utility.

Jal_Pari- Ping! is a push msg app available for iphone..it was free before but now I think it costs $.
the problem with ping! however is that it takes forever for the person to recieve a message. I should download a better prog so I'm going to look for one and let you know ;)
