Some nice features but can it really give FB a run for its money? I dont believe that…

but finally some effort by Google at social networks thats gonna stay for more than couple of months :stuck_out_tongue:

Tofi, I got in, thanks for the invite. Been away traveling. I’m liking G+ so far but not crazy about the app on my phone, kind of clunky looking.

I don’t much care about it as of yet. Probably because my friends are not on it. Lets see if it gets big like other social networks.

This thing is catching on faster than FB did. I know people are more aware of what do to with these now than when FB first came out. Plus the fact that majority of world’s (computer savy) population have GMail accounts so they are almost there anyway.

The one thing thats driving the nerds and geeks to G+ is the promise of privacy and the anticipation of getting data in and out of the system. With FB there was no such expectation. If you upload pictures up to FB, it belongs to FB and not to you.

Fun fact: G+ already had 10 million subscribers as of Friday last (July 22)

^ still early days but seems like google is finally getting the hang of social networking after failed attempts like buzz and wave.

Circles features is really good and Hangouts is awesome! :k:

still a lot to do to prize people out of fb.
