Anyone used this app?

So you point your phone camera towards a landmark, object, store, etc and the app identifies it and gives you useful information about it. It can also translate it in different languages so let’s say you’re in France and are reading a fancy menu but understand absolutely nothing, it will translate it into English or your preferred language for you.

Looking forward to using it on my future travels.

Nice! Sounds very useful especially if in a new place so you can identify where you are etc. Will check it out!

This app uses image recognition technology to bring you search results that you take a picture of. You can also scan bar codes using Goggles to get product information. It works well for things such as logos, the covers of books, DVDs and games. I think the main point of this app is to takes you to the source of some product,good one.

While on your travels you can also try out the app Field Trip
This app sees where you are and then it suggested important landmarks and points of interest in your surrounding areas so you can go check them out.

I have actually found some interesting places in the area i’ve lived in for over a decade.

^^ Yes I have that app too and use it all the time. I've come to discover some really interesting places in my area that have historical significance or even just the best fish and chips in town!

What phone do you have LP? I can get u the apk, that's not a problem, I wanna make sure its compatible with your device. You need a minimum of Android 2.3 with GPS. Let me know.

^ Field Trip is currently US only,

And the best use of Google goggles is scanning business cards, it can scan business cards and store the data to your address book, my favorite thing to do.
