I can't hear anything . Before recording make sure that your mic is connected . Try windows recorder to record something and you'll know if it is working .

Follow this and open up your sound recorder .
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder
Now record something and see if it is working or not . I think there is something wrong with your mic . Or may be plugged in , in different socket . :)

That is working all right I have recorded Tu is trha se meri zindagi main shamil hai to my recorder and GS per record kiya tu nahi howa that means nothing wrong with my microphone:P

When you record something then make sure that you play it again to listen if it is actually recorded or not .

PS:P Agar laptop ke sath kuch wrong hota tu recorder bhi record na kerta thats working fine and shine:(khiyal aiya nashukri nahi kerni chahey if it is working fine:D
