will be visiting pakistan in december so looking around to rent for a good 4-6 weeks
mostly interested in Diesel Corolla , with seat belts.
Also let me know if there are any dodgy places to avoid as well.

Oye ziada show maarnay dee lauRR nahee. Just talk to some taxi driver and book him for a week at Rs 500 a day plus petrol.

plus have you ever travelled in a Taxi from pindi to peshawar and have realisied that travel time was increased from 2-1/2 hours to 4 hours coz every single police man stops it to check the papers and ask for $$$.

just wondering that in pakistan when they charge you Rs 200/ day for insurance , although in contract it says it will protect you against any demage over Rs, 15000.
But does it really do that ??? i mean the contracts in pakistan can be broken any thime
like you return the car and the will tell you sorry mate you have distroyed this this and this and it will cost this much and we don not care about insurance and you will have to pay for it .

i think they generally give you a daily rate including the insurance and if you take the driver, its not your problem at all! even if the car gets annihilated by the driver, you pay nothing! so in pakistan its better to go with the driver, as most rental cos. say that to their clients themself. if the car gets stolen where do you go!? so keep the driver and forget the insurance stuff. thats the best option in pak.
yeah driver seems to be better option,
but who arranges drivers sleep overs, do we have to do it or he arrages it him self.
also what if you are in lahore and want to go to fortress at 2 Am to eat bundo khan kay kabab ????
