Re: Good people & Bad People
personally, i do think that it is not the bad people who are bad, it is their badness.
something at some point in their lives, or over time, makes them turn into bad people.
from religious and humanity point of views, i feel that even when we control for gender differences in emotional regularity and physical confrontation of women and men, of similar age, and their positions, which may include party or monetary or time factors on their sides, for the moment, still bad people are weak, and that is why they are torturous.
the loss of life, that goes on, while the bad people are working to their fullest strength, it is sad.
but, once they are doomed, and suffering, then, yes, the value of good people will become obvious.
but, it will become obvious only to those who are potentially good, not to other bad people.
definition of bad will also help:
do we mean people are bad:
as in personal life situations and experiences
as in character
as in habits
as in culture
as in being faith less (not God fearing, negating and not educated about religion and the humility it teaches)
as in nature (which is the worst kind)
much has to be unraveled. which is why for good people as individuals, as families and as communities must get together and work through their examples to fight the good fight
as as Islam teaches, it transcends all discrimination and is universal in its message.
we need to creative in problem solving at such depth and with this magnitude that involves so many people, and so many aspects of their lives and roles and their relationship to other human beings and all other life forms on this earth.
second coming is not far away, we all know. so we must do all we can to help re live the faith of those who qualify out of their own accord.
and even if we got them out of the misery of living a self destructive lives, we would have done our work as Almighty's creators spreading its message.
