Muqqawee - you had provided me the names of 2-3 good Pakistani movies - I meant to write them down - now forgot where to look. Could you be so kind to refresh my memory? Any suggestions from others on good, serious, artistic Pakistani movies are welcome

Ramchand Pakistani by Mehreen Jabbar with Nandita Das and Khamosh Pani by Sabiha Sumar with Kiron Kher.

Both of these are not mainstream commercial movies and have some Indian collaboration.

There are no good commercial mainstream movies to recommend from recent era.

You have already seen KKL and Bol.

[BTW, you might want to check out some nice old Pakistani movie songs that I dedicated to you in the notorious Veena thread. :)]

Thanks Tanvir. Will check out Ramchand Pakistani. KKL ka full form kya hai? I may have seen it, but blanking out.

Will check out the songs from Veenaji's thread :). If I recall there were twin threads, andn they were not of the fraternal kind!

Another movie that I recommended was ‘Zibahkhana -Slaughterhouse’. Here is the trailer of the movie.

(Although the movie is on horror theme which is not normally taken seriously by many of us, but I liked the execution and acting so much)
