ok im not up to date with the latest paki singers cuz i dont have ptv/geo/ary tv at home. all i listen to is a bit of atif aslam and i was wondering if anyone can tell me the names of good pakistani songs to download. im looking for singers/bands along the lines of atif …some slow rock or pop but nothing by abarar ul haq or jawad ahmed please. no peace/cricket/ walay gaanay either (like the strings aaleaaleaaleo)…u know …stuff with good lyrics and a good beat…i will really appreciate it!

^ it is one song - Aacha Laga by AWS. I also like their Neend Mein - both on the same site. Check out other songs from that site as well. I personally didn't find any of the other new stuff appealing

You can download some from PMX, if allowed, i think they changed the format of pakmusic somewhat and rather then giving downloads file by file, download whole album in ZIP or RAR format....

better stick to Pakistani pop that are not newer than 2004, say Atif, Ali Zafar, Jal, Strings, Faakhir, Haroon etc. i think they're the best for those looking out for positively influence pakistani bands.. and oh yes if you want a GOOD western plagiarization check out EP.. and for God's sake if you ever come across a band called Evolution cover your face (although ofcourse all kind of music is not good religiously)

Hey, one of the best pakistani pop CDs i have heard are of Aaroh....their song raag neela is a big hit and other songs are quite good as well. Plus, some of the DJs here have been taking out some abida parveen club mixes which are very good especially...yaar di ghadoli remix....
