.... Ahan? But they grouped together hindi with urdu. For speaking the two maybe similar, but, I can't read a single thing if its in hindi (the sankskrit way). I am sure most Indians may not be able to read urdu. So to group these two is kinda unfair.

…and to think that this statistic is compiled by a Pakistani institute. I mean, I can forgive international organizations for considering Urdu and Hindi as the same, but for a Pak organization to do so… yikes!
(Heck, many foreigners even consider Pakistan as being part of India!)

I wouldn’t mind if Urdu comes in at 7th or 8th place, if it is by itself.
Obviously more ppl speak Mandarin (Chinese), English, Hindi, French, Arabic or Spanish. But, by my guess, Urdu should be in top-10.
