Well It's not all about heart and seerat or appearance. I believe that it is YOU who maintains and makes yourself attractive and goodlooking. In the first impression noone knows about your seerat people often goes on your looks , your dress, your way of speaking, your confidence and these all things are developed by the person himself like it depends how you are dressed, how you talk (in a humble way or harshly with rude words). To blame your bad looks is not the right way, you should develop your personality. You must have a good haircut or atleast you must take care of your hairs and skin and dress sense. With all these I don't think someone would ignore you.
