How important is it to have good looking children ? I think if they are it make* rishta* process easy for them ??
Reason I am asking my older brothers use to tell me … “if you want beautiful children, find a beautiful wife”
So pretty wife would increase chance of better looking children hence less trouble finding their match ?
I would rather prefer to have well mannerd, well behaved, sensible and educated children which don’t need a pretty wife but a mature, educated and sensible wife. You know what I mean
We had girl in school and she had a crush on my friend. It was full hard core, smelling his house sash and cuddling his notebook. She was 7.5/10 but he wasn't into her as he said "bache kale hun he" :D her skin color was light brown. I'm sure 2 spoons of tibit cream would have fixed it.
Well what if you have a beautiful wife and when it comes to genes your genes are more dominant?
Damn bro.
@Monk, I always thought you were a girl. no kidding
where one person may look beautiful/attractive at one point in their lives i.e childhood, they can grow up to be 'ugly'?
also, vice versa.
plus basing it on looks is very shallow and superficial.
Yes, looks DO play a part in the rishta process, but who would like an ill-mannered spouse with a beautiful face?
If their personality rocks, doesn't the make the person more beautiful in your eyes even though they may not look that attractive?
Also, having a beautiful wife doesn't necessarily mean she will give birth to beautiful children. But aren't all children beautiful in their parents eyes?
OK I worded it wrong. I apologise for sounding like I was saying monk was ugly. I didn't mean that. I just meant if you have a beautiful wife and she is better looking out of the two of you it still doesn't matter cause it's down to genes. If your kids look like your grandfather then that's genes. There's no guarantee the kids will look like the wife.

Speaking generally.. looks fade but they don't usually change completely, unless you've been in a huge accident or something maybe.. Your features tend to stay the same even if you might look a bit "withered" as you get older :D(And by then you've usually gotten that bond and are in love anyway.. or should be lol).. Someone's smile isn't going to change that much.. or the colour of their eyes or their dimples or whatever else might stand out to you about them.. Having said that though beauty is obviously subjective so what's considered stunning to one person obviously might not be attractive to another.. I find that quite beautiful.. Personally I'd worry about having healthy children rather than them being conventionally good-looking..
