I need your help (again!)–thank God for this forum :halo:!-We’re planning on buying my jewellery now bcs gold prices are not going down and honestly there’s only the “bright yellow singapore/tamil” variety here in montreal (if you know what I mean)…There’s a ton of jewellery dukhans in Mississauga/Brampton areas but I have no idea if they’re worth making the trip for?
Does anyone have any suggestions about what stores are good? Experience? pics? Thanks ALOT girls! Really appreciate any feedback

The only place that I saw really nice designs is a store on Gerrard Street called Variety Jewellers. It's right next to Lahore Tikka House (or whatever that famous restaurant is called).
They get all their jewellery from Lahore. They have a branch in Pak too.

I guess i wasn't that far off :p honestly i liked alot of the jewelery I saw there, but I think i saw most of the costume ones...not the gold.
They don't have any artificial gold there. You can custom make orders with them too at Variety Jewellers. Price wise, quality wise, design wise, I liked them the best.
The other one which is quite decent, but not as much selection is Aziz Jewellers in Rexdale. They also have quite nice designs, but not as much variety.
Oh, i meant all over Gerrard, I've seen alot of costume jewelery that I really liked, but didn't really pay attention to the gold jewelery.. I'll check out Variety.....whenever i get a chance to go...

I guess I should specify my lengha is red and orangey so gold with similar coloured beads would be fab as opposed to plain yellow gold :S if you know a good place to find stuff like that please share!:biggthumb
Check out Variety Jewellers. There's one jewellery shop across the street from Variety .... cannot remember the name. It's right on the corner, across the street. Also a Pakistani jewellery shop .... you might find something there. Personally, I liked Variety a LOT better.

Variety has a lot of really beautiful sets. At least last time I went there. I nearly got all my wedding gold from there (went to Dubai instead :p ).
