Molana Modoodi’s tafseer has some lose points (like he kind of doubted Sahaba and Prophets at couple of places), but for most of the part, the objectionable material in his tafseer is something that only real mufassir and ulema can pick. For most of us, its a good and easy to understand Tafseer.
