Good Islamic tafasser

SO there are lot of tafseers of Quran out there and some are more authentic and some are more famous. I have tafseer ibn-e-kaseer, Maariful Quraan and Quran easy tarjuma by Mufti Taqi Usmani. And my mom has Maulana Modoodi tafseer. Some one from tableeghi jamat told me that maulana modoodi tafseer is right but there are some topics that are more critical which he shouldn’t be doing that. Well my point is how can we find right tafseer, the only tafseer I have heard is authentic is Tafseer Ibne Kaseer but its too hard to understand, Maulan Taqi Usmani is famous and dependable alim and I should his Asan tarjuma Quran.

Re: Good Islamic tafasser

**i know...tafseer by ibn-e-Kasee is way to hard to understand...in English, the more authentic and widely used is the Glorious Qur'aan by Mamaduke N Pickthal.

most traditional ulemaa criticize Maulana Maudoodii because never went to a traditional islaamii darsgaah to obtain any degree in Islaamiyaat and as a result he finds himself at liberty to cross the 'lines' sometimes in his passion to write extempore. his tafheem-ul-Qur'aan is more like a speech.

i think there is ONE that is more easily understood and a good one is:

***tarjumaan ul Qur'aan by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad*

Re: Good Islamic tafasser

Molana Modoodi's tafseer has some lose points (like he kind of doubted Sahaba and Prophets at couple of places), but for most of the part, the objectionable material in his tafseer is something that only real mufassir and ulema can pick. For most of us, its a good and easy to understand Tafseer.
