Good Deeds X Good Intentions = Great Deeds

The Prophet (saw) visited a Suhabi (r.a) to his new house, and asked the reason of making a window in the wall. The Suhabi (r.a) replied that it was meant for sun rays and fresh air. The Prophet (saw) advised him that it would have been better if he had intended to make this window in order to be able to listen to the message of “Adhaan” (Azaan), because the sunrise and fresh air he would have benefited from anyways, for free.

There are so many deeds in our daily life that we do just because we have to do them, but we can increase their reward many folds not only in this world but also in the life hereafter only by improving our intentions.
