can someone recommend me some good Bollywood comedys from past couple of yrs(2001 onwards)

try hungama, munna bhai mbbs, jodi no 1, and all mithun da's movies.

i think anything with saif ali khan is funny, except ek hasina thi. btw, EHT showed his range as an actor. he played an evil guy, and after seeing it i totally hated him, his character, hehe.

I think old pakistani comedys are better .
Try "Angun Tehra" and "Aalif Noon"

Hungama and Awara Pagal Diwana (rip-offs i kno and dont care)

it all depends on personal preference and taste lussi but here's my recommendations....

  • hungama {king of comedy paresh rawal at his best}
  • style
  • munnabhai mbbs
  • khushi {i found fardeen's and bebo's dialogues extremely funny}

lots of govinda's films, like
- ek rur ek gyarah
- haseena maan jaayegi

also in a few weeks time a film called HULCHUL will be released, watch that, paresh rawal has apparently delivered his best performance yet.

This is from early 90's. And the movie has no HUMAN sound in it. (real or simulation).
Its not only Hilarious but an unusual movie. IMO its a 'Classic must view'
flick.

ha, i remember that movie. that is one awesome movie.
if you dont know it already, you wont notice that there is no human sound in it. you wont even feel need for them.

good job the director and actors.
