anyone? also has anyone used a desi salon in jackson hieghts, etc?
what colour are you planing on getting?
I once had it in red, but wasnt really happy with it, should I go for blond, but then everyone is going for it, I dunno...
electiric blue :k:
electric blue...hmm
yeah i went to a salon in jackson heights. 5 bucks for threading although the sign said 4. and those ladies were rough. i was held down by two while the third did my eyebrows. ouch. that area was hurting the whole night.
and then on top of that, they were making fun of me. :(
stupid desi women.

I agree...although if i didnt love my hair so much i would go for purple and pink fusion
i got these gorgeous highlights in turkey..yes turkey...coppery/blondy chunks under and then more small evenly spaced type highlights on top...it looked great..but is growing out.
I just hate it when brown girls have bad highlights..and wanted to find someone who's had a good experience
Even though I have never had my hair highlighted before from Raheela's but I sure have heard a lot about her from cousins. You might want to ask people around. She is located in Coney Island, Brooklyn. It's on avenue J'
Yeah I don't understand why desi girls with naturally black hair want to get blonde highlights. Especially when they keep highlighting until the dark roots are left to peek out underneath. Not an attractive look. I would go for more subtle highlights like a coppery brown.
I've never had threading done. I don't have enough eyebrow for that. But $5 is so cheap. Too bad the service was not so good though.
