Gone in a Jiffy

I painted these for fund raising for earthquake survivors as I am working with Harris and Ejaz Asi for earthquake survivors.

Oils. An earthquake survivor which hit Asia on 8th October 2005. That quake distroyed so many cities that they are now vanished and not a single building stood there. Also the schools and hospitals are damaged. Her all family is gone, her freinds are dead. Only she is alive. And it all happened in a jiffy.

I didnot over work on it as my mother liked it as it is. Its a quikie, done in 2 hours. The size is pretty big.

hey OMG, would you consider selling some of your art? I might be interested... I'm a big fan of oils and original art, prints don't do it for me.

OMG: You can do a great job by painting such images to let the world know what is the need of the time.

AQ, yes, I have done a series of earth quake survivors for such cause. And presented it to the world to tell the story. Paintings are on based of Ejas Asi's photos, friend of my brother Harris. Both worked for quake survivors. Ejas personaly visited those areas with a team of doctors from Karachi. We three are working on this project. Hope we succeed.

Thanks Girls. When I saw the ref pic, it brought tears to my eyes too so couldnot resist myself to paint this.
