Yes, one of the funniest movies of the past. It is damn good.
Amol Palekar and the Bengali actor( can't remember his name) are really funny in the movie.
The way Amol Palekar tackles the roles of the twin-brothers(a lie he has to live to save his job), it is hilarious. How he has to speak in pure hindi and how he makes up stories whenever his lie is about to get caught.. it is really funny.
PELE (Black pearl) scene is really funny. And there are many more, I cannot remember them right now.
Had seen it when I was a kid. Thanks Niqabi for the thread, I'll try to rent it today for a second look.

The Bengali actor was Utpal Dutt, the heroine's dad. Apart from the comedy the song, "Aane waala pal, jaane waala hai" was good too.
Hillarious movie, Utpal Dutt, Amol Palekar, Dina pathak and Bindiya Goswami. Kishore Kumar and the Song 'Anewala Pal...' too good..
