khair National Treasure Part II might have been a better bet - but I liked Part I more.

i read the novel in school...i watched the film last week...it was ok..well it was boring at the begining and i thought pantalamon would be soo much cuter...

I actually enjoyed it......or enjoyed watching Noor enjoy it.
She sat through with her jaw hanging open through most of the "action" parts.....and for the next few days insisted on being addressed as "Lyra"

I liked it. It wasn't as bad as everybody made it sound ... I felt like this was an introductory movie just setting us up for the real thing, which will come next (in the sequel).
