Re: Gold rates
What do you want to know and in what currency? Like 100 grams 24 carat gold in euro´s? Tola in rupees?? Buying just gold or want to make something of gold... Rates of gold in pakistan with making without making??
Re: Gold rates
I want it in dirhams. What does it mean when it is said that the gold rate for 24 carat gold is dirhams 111.00?
Re: Gold rates
What is so complicated about gold rates?
24 carat means pure gold i.e. not an alloy. Unit rates are given usually for 1/10/100 grams of gold.
1 gram of 24 carat gold costs Dhs 111. This is what it means.
You can buy gold bars at that rate. For jewellery I suppose they charge moulding/designing on top of that.
Re: Gold rates
actually 111 dirham, is for 1 gram. not for 100
Re: Gold rates
^ yeah I guess I messed that part up. Thanks.
Re: Gold rates
That means 10 gms gold will cost 111 x 10 + moulding and designing charges?
That means 10 gms gold will cost 111 x 10 + moulding and designing charges?
cool now you are learning rose :)
1gm Gold = dhs. 111
10gm Gold = 111X10 = dhs. 1110
Designing/Making = dhs. 3 / gm
10gm Designing/Making = 3x10 = dhs. 30
10gm Gold with Making charges = 1110 + 30 = dhs. 1140
The easiest way to do it there in shop is, Price of 1gm Gold + Designing/Making charges per gm X the weight of gold you want to buy.
In above case it will be..
111 + 3 X 10 = dhs. 1140 <<<<<<<< that how the shopkeepers do on calculator. may be you got confused while seeing them doing it. Their job is to confuse you. remember this formula and do it urself then match ur answer with shopkeeper's.
Designing/Making charges are negotiatable, you can bargain on that. But they wont ever reduce the Gold per gram rate for you.
Re: Gold rates
So is it the same thing for 22 carat gold too ?
