Does anyone know how much is 1 tola into grams.
I was looking up google, and there is plenty of information. However, i would like to know is there a difference in the indian tola and pakistani, because there was one site which differentiated between the two.
So, how much is pakistani tola in grams and ounces.

2.5 tola = 10 grams which means 1 tola = 4 grams...i'm NOT too sure though
16 ounces = 1 pound which is same as 16 chhaTaaNk = 1 ser
i chhaTaaNK = 4 tola

It wouldve been good if you were sure. I cant manage to gather the 'right' calculation. It has been months, but no luck. Everyone just assumes and then when you google, it tells you indian tola pakistani tola. more confusion.

i think 1 tola is equal to about 11 grams.....pretty sure.

1 Indian Tola is 10grams.
1 Pakistani Tola is 11grams.
That is according to an Indian Jewellers in Southall - told me once.

u can always calculate is.. when 10 grams gold is 24000 rupees then 1 tola gold is 28800 rupees..

1 tola = 10
25 g = 1 oz
world price is in ounces so 2.5 tola = 1 oz

If 1 tola is 10 grams, then why do they have different rates for 10 grams and 1 tola. Tola being slightly higher.
