Oh, please. Don’t believe those uber-dramatic people. Contrary to the CNN/GEO version of Pakistan, Pakistan is very much still the same vibrant country with the hussle and bussle of everyday life like it was prior to the current situation. Go and enjoy yourself. I cant imagine having my wedding anywhere except Lahore, and the shopping you’d get done there is AMAZING! And the bazaars are so amazing and filled with people because life goes on and no, there isn’t a bomb blast or robbery every passing moment. Both Lahore and Faisalabad are relatively safe compared to Karachi.

Karachi is safe too. i live here… every other day i go out with my friends (we don’t have male friends so we always have girls gathering only) and Alhamdullilah we come back safe and sound. even me and my sister go on shopping after Maghrib and haven’t had any bad incident yet Alhamdulillah.

just few tips for you whether you are in lhr, fsl or in khi:
don’t wear lots of jewellery
Avoid using mobile phone on roads

bottom line is every city in Pakistan is safe. yes kidnappings and robberies are quit common these days but not to that extent. Dont believe those media and people. just enjoy your wedding and shopping
