Hi ppl!

I needed SERIOUS advise here as me and my family have no clue what to do.
We were suppose to be going to Pakistan on starting of December for my wedding, but we got told by so many ppl to not go as the halaat are very much critical there and heard so many horrible stories like murder/kidnapping/chori and what not on severe level. I was even told that i will not be able to shop around for my shaadi prep as its sooooooooo dangerous…AND you are not even safe at home these days in PAK.
I’m mainly going to Lahore and Faislabaad area. So please advise ppl if we should go or not as i cant do the shaadi prep here so I HAVE TO but we are damn scared to go aswell.

I JUST got back from Lahore 2 days ago. I was there for a month and even went crazy Eid shopping in the rush everywhere. Everything was fine. We avoided going out super super late at night though–though, not gonna lie, my cousin and I were out quite late a few nights. We just made sure to go on streets that were main streets since they weren’t deserted ever. I was panicking the first few nights since everyone made a huge fuss. Just make sure you don’t wear large amounts of jewelry that would draw attention to you. You’ll be fine! Again, it probably depends more on the area you’re in, but I went to most of Lahore’s shopping places (MM Alam, Link Road, Liberty, Moon Market, etc) and it was fine.
