Advice: Keep a pack of Flagyl tablets handy. It would be hot, humid and dusty in Lahore. I think it is the dust that makes the food of the food street vendors so tasty!

Make sure you Only drink bottled Water!

Taking sun screen will also help :)

ooo Make sure you visit the wood works place in Anar Kali. They have some amazing one peice baskets etc!
It can reduce into a small piece of wood. You can also make it a basket / case etc. No xtra removable parts. All from one piece of wood. Hard to xplain but you will know once you see it - that you HAVE to get it!

I went to Lahore last month ...

The best kababs are from Little Chef in Defense. Also try Fazal Haq's chicken tikka on Wahdat Road. It is really really good. And I love the naan's.

Fortress isn't that good for ready made clothes. I would suggest Raja Centre for cute kurti's. I bought a whole bunch and they were only 300 rupees each.

Best shoe shop is Khussa Mahal in Liberty. He also has a return policy with no time limit on unworn stuff, which is really good because I bought a gift for my sister, and she doesn't like the khussay so I will return it next year. Their khussay don't hurt your feet either, plus khussay are in style this season.

Muneeba's is the best for hair cuts, also Depilex is ok, but try to get someone experienced like Ambreen. If you go to Muneeba, make sure you get Muneeba herself to cut your hair, because she does it best, compared to the silly girls she has kept. But call before going because she is always in London or NY.
