Re: Going to Pak - What all needs to be done there?
Are you panning to live in Pakistan after marriage? If not then buying furniture from there isn't really a smart move... unless you're willing to spend a fortune on the shipping costs.
Re: Going to Pak - What all needs to be done there?
yea i was about to ask that too...r u living in Pak? because if you are living in Dubai then i would avoid buying anything bulky from pak and shipping it there. you can get far better in dxb
i think ur clothes should be priority because my mum recently came back from pak and said its REALLY hectic trying to get things stitched in pak at the moment....but readymade is a better option if u can!
I agree with sohni. As soon as you get there focus on your suits. Don't tell the tailers/designers the day you're leaving, say a few days before your actual departure date. They take forever so you want to be certain you get your clothes. There are plenty of beautiful ready made suits too, which may be easier to get.
If you plan on coming back to Pakistan for your wedding, then ordering and letting them take their time won't be a problem.
What do you plan on wearing to your wedding iA?
Re: Going to Pak - What all needs to be done there?
hey guys ... no i WILL be living in pak after the wedding .. if i was living in dubai .. the furniture here costs half the price !!! but yeah i gotta do my room interiors for my bedroom there at my in laws house .. fiance giving me the leverage of getting it all done my way soo ill be quite busy in that .. and yes clothes is going to be a huge priority but then again im thinking i dont wana end up spending all my money on clothes ... maybe just buy the ones which will be used in the foreseeable future like after the wedding or during the wedding right?
thank gurls for the input .. i guess i will have to be smart with the tailors !! ...
shezadi jani i will be doing my mehndi outfit which will be a lehnga with long a line shirt ...combo will be red and orange
my reception dresss is going to be done by my in laws .. by sara salman i think .. theyre doing a lehnga hopefully too .. if not ill make sure they do .. or a gown .. either one :) combos will have something to do with either having emerald color or contrasting with the emerald color cuz the jewelry will be like that ... ill hopefully sort it out this time around while im there ...
