you can try tapping in any professional contacts that you might have. Send out your resume and at least secure some interviews. Dont go there without anything at least partially ready.

Opportunities for Overseas Pakistani Engineers and Scientists

Dear Pakistani Brother/Sister:

I am writing this letter to invite you to explore opportunities for
engineers and scientists in Pakistan, on behalf of the National
Engineering & Scientific Commission, (NESCOM).

It is the right time for Pakistani’s who can build the Nation. Many
Pakistani professionals abroad have already returned to Pakistan are
gainfully employed and contributing to the country’s economy, especially in
the areas of science and technology.

NESCOM is looking for bright Pakistani engineers and scientists with
foreign qualifications. Please check out our web site at
http://www.nescom.gov.pk or email at [email protected] for more
information. You can apply by web application.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing
from you.

:hehe:

i hope they do werna toh mera koi chance naheen  :hehe:

thanks for ur help

I have also already suggested a couple of mailing lists that have jobs in Pakistan posted on them. if you plan on sticking to CS one very easy way to secure employement over there would be to look at firms that deal with outsourcing in Pakistan. And then contact these firms outsourcing person and talk to them. there are a fair number of Pakistani businesses in the US who have offices in lahore, khi and islamabad where they use local talent and they would benefit imensely from someone who has the school experience from here but wants to work back there.

However I would still suggest you work here at least for a year because it will make you so much more imensely valuable to firms in the US working with Pakistanis back home. They then know that you have the US work ethic but are willing to work in Pakistan for the Pakistani rates.

if you have friends in pakistan in CS ask them which local or international companies are interested in students with their backgrounds. This gives you a third set of people to focus on either here or in Pakistan, since these firms do actively hire people with your background.

Hmcq bhai, thx for the advice :)

Hmmm...the latest now is that i'm going home right after graduation...

The MAX I could have stayed out here by myself after graduation could have been three four months anyway to work but I really didn't feel like it also coz my parents would like for me to go back if I am not studying in grad school...dont really like the idea of just staying here and working...

so I think i'ma go back home right after graduation....take a break for some time and stay with my grandparents in pindi...thinking of doing a detailed and rigorous study of Quraan paak as well...maybe in al-huda...either in khi or pindi not sure..

and then in a coupla months maybe look for jobs prolly in either karachi or islamabad as thats where my family in pak is...

so thats kindddd of the final plan now...

Allah ki marzi aagay :) aap dua kerna everything goes ok...
