Actually, they do collect information on the candidates. There is a biodata of everyone available along with contact info in case anyone wants to get in touch later on.
It doesnt work that way. Each table has a group of girls. All the guys are divided into groups as well. The girls stay where they are and the men keep rotating from table to table. When they get to a certain table, they take turns talking about themselves and then give the ladies a chance to do the same. This keeps happening until each group of men has visited all the tables. Once this is over, the men have the option of going to a specific girl that might have caught their attention and requesting to chat with her separately. She can say yes or no.
