ME going to Manchester and Bradford this january '08. Ok I am kind of excited. I want to know that kind of things can we see there (other than pakistani community ofcourse!)
Where to buy desi cloths/choorian/pan/mathai
Eat desi food.
See some places, like desi streets ect..
I am sick of european style so want to see desi style, so no castle or any park places.

If you're in Manchester, take a drive to blackburn...they have all the post Eid Sales on right now and the range and prices are really good.

Came back from Bradford/Manchester ...
I bought tons of suits from Leeds Road and Pakistani Bazar in Bradford.
For food Saffrone was very good. Watan Store was great for pakistani grocery. Didn't get a chance to see much of Manchester though.

That's good info. My wife didn't really like the suits in London, because most of them were too "Indian style". But apparently there are proper Pakistani Bazars in Bradford, so next time we are in the UK, we might make a quick trip to Bradistan. :)

Yeah Umer, Bradford is totally a mini Pakistan, you dont see any Indians there as compared to Pakistanis.
All my suits are pakistani style, so she will definitly love to shop there.
