^my expeience they somehow always know n they say it right on ur face"baji tussi lhr dai nahi lagday"So my new tricky answer was yeah hum faisalabad se yahan visit ker rehay hain aur faisalabad main kisi ne ponchna tu kehna haan hum lhr se aaiy hain n that was enuf to shut them up :)but if u argue n bargain like crazy they might not doubt u

lol.yes.they always get to know somehow.my cousin from US has an excellent punjabi accent.still she was surprised when the man at shop figured out she was not from here.when asked,he told he knew that cuz locals dont say SALAAM when they enter the shop&also she looked around for ACs and fans since it was july.locals know that there are usually no ACs in shops usually.smart man!

I was looking forward to hitting the shops of lahore now im not to sure :( bargaining I can manage they will instantly know I am not from pak & will bump up the price, I just hoep I come away with some nice outfits im shopping for my sisters wedding my best mates & my cousins wedding all this year..
