going to Karachi for wedding need advice on Hair tools

Ok guys I am going to karachi next week for my dewars wedding. Last time I went to karachi was 8 years ago for two weeks. I took my curling and flat iron and took an adopter/convertor and all my tools including hair dryer got ruined.

any advice anyone who has recently gone what to buy as for the convertors and/or if we can just purchase hair tools taht will work without convertors.

same applies to laptop and cell phone as well…

when i went to pakistan, i bought a converter for my straightener (about 50 rupees 4 years back), and used that. however, one time i lost it and guess what happened, i realized my straightener worked fine even without it since it was made in china. this was a revlon one by the way. at the back of your hair tools, it should specify the watts.. look for those.
