apart from the wedding suits etc, what else would i need to take with me from here in the uk, as well as things i may need in the summer such as mosquito creams etc, diarohea tablets etc and things for my wedding that i may not have time or will be availble there.
can you give me a list( if poss) of things i need to take with me
ALso ABIT OF A PERSONAL Q…but alot of my mates who have got married have bought lingerie (of THAT kind) and have told me its essential…is it really?

Take wet wipes, make-up, good moisturisers, insect repellant, tea tree oil, perfume, lingerie, pj's, your normal medical stuff e.g painkillers, a few plasters for the journey, feminine hygiene products, razors, depilitory products, sweets, chocolates (keep in fridge), tweezers... I can't think of anything else.

i remember last time we went pak we took about 20 packets of paracetmol with us, and they all finished by the time we got back...lol shows how stressful our relatives are...

If you are coming to Karachi, mostly everything is available here but the following things are essential if you don't get time to shop. Even if you get the time, you may get counfused about the brand's originality and prices.
Make sure you have all the toiletries you need -- face wash, bath wash/soap, shampoo, conditioner, cosmetics (eye shadow, blush, foundation, eye liner, mascara, lipsticks, nailpolish, etc), tweezers, cosmetic scissors, eye lash curler, perfume, body lotions, Makeup wipes, hair removal stuff if needed etc.
You must grab a nightgown or two, pretty lingerie/negligee and your fav. underwear.

^Good ideas! Pakistan anywhere in the summer will be HOT so take Original Source MINT AND TEA TREE OIL Shower Gel, it will cool u right down - trust me, the voice of experience. At the moment its only 99p at Superdrug. The Lime one is very refreshing also.

Electrical adapter plugs, a laptop, ipod, books, toiletries and makeup, clothing, underwear, hairbrush (I always forget to take mine!)

I got married in Pak and was terrified I'd be sick. I took Purell and Listerine and used them religiously. I was well the whole trip, AH.
About the lingerie, I would maybe get a few frilly things that you are comfortable wearing NOW. Ones that are a little bit revealing, but nothing that you will feel uncomfortable or embarrassed in. Once you and your husband are more comfortable with each other, you can always get more stuff!

I always forget to take my tooth brush :( Heres my list, you get everything in Pakistan and their are generators and UPS's everywhere, so Electricity shouldnt be an issue unless your going to a village or a small city. Take some shower gels, shampoo and conditioner. Facewash and wipes. make up removal products, chocolate ( this is a funny story, but I was craving chocolate so I went over to agha's in Khi and grabed 2 bounty's, and guess what the cocunut inside was yellow instead of the regular normal color, lets just say I didnt eat them, but I did give them to a begger) So yes Chocolates, no matter what people in Pakistan say the Western food their is awful or expired. Listerine and Purrel should be your best friends; I took a small bottle for my purse and a bigger bottle for home) Lotions, perfumes, Lingeire for sure. Pad's tampons, Make up, comfortable flats and heels. Anything that gives your comfort basically. Straightner, anti frizz products. Anything you use on your skin and hair take it with you. I cant think of anything else. Painkills and stomach flu and diarehea medication. I took some garnola bars with me. Oh and loads of chewing gum or any kind of mouth freshner you use. Listerine pocket one are good.
