I know a Mustana Kulfi Walla in Pindi, hes pretty famous for his amazing kulfiz.
U might even be able to shop at Dubai Mall sweety.. heard they're gonna open end of this year! Going back to the topic, Embassy Suites in Shj is reasonable and good and so is Radisson SAS..which is on the beach! Coral Resort is another option..

Oh yeah! Dubai mall is opening! i am going to visit it as soon as it opens.. it is opening end of november most prolly... and right next to my house!

lol i can never get sick of MOE as it is near my uni and in my free times i go there but Dubai Mall is going to be a welcome change!

Mall of Emirates is pretty expensive ... same stuff on both carrefours yet the MOE one costs more

thats true but it has its risks lol I've experienced, it was back in 2005 @ Ra's Al-Khaymah and I almost lost my life.

we stayed at Golden Sands in Bur Dubai - it was very cheap - cost me £600.00 (booked directly on their website) for one week - 4 people, 2 bedroom apartment (they are a apartment hotel with a cafe bar- it was very clean, lots of space and i would totally stay with them again). Another ads is that they are in a great location... they are stones throw away from Meena Bazaar (which your wife will love) and turn the other direction.. you have dubai marina and jumeriah along with all those expensive shops they have to offer. Also we took a abra (water taxi) from bur dubai to diera - it cost less than £1 for four of us to get to the Gold Souks.. if your after budget which is what i was looking for Golden Sands is a great location (free airport transfers also, and free beach transfer), great place to stay, staff are ok, and generally everyone is very friendly.
