that is good. i am going to have a couple of phones on me…several years ago when i went, i got hassled due to the cell phones since their machine picked them in the luggage. i think the guys just wanted some bribe but after a bit of an argument they let me go. they pointed me to a sign saying something about the limit of cell phones you can bring in but i think that was perhaps for pak residents only. the interesting thing is that this bag arrived a couple of days later and this happened when i went to pick it up. i was not stopped during arrival when i was with my wife.
anyways, i don’t have a problem with paying the correct duty on items through proper channel but unfortunately i don’t think that would be an option. this can be frustrating.
