Going for holiday to karachi

Hi All,

I am planning on coming to karachi via London next year March, i know there is a long way, but i would like to know how much the recent floodings will have an affect on karachi, and whether it is a good idea to book it in the coming months, also would like to know if the airline prices would be affected by this.

yakoob, as far as I know, Karachi seems to be doing ok so far (in terms of flood)... I can't say anything about the airline prices ... but ur not going until next year, who knows so much more could change by then...

Flood will not affect Karachi directly but in terms of dieases it can. Take prevention against mosquitoes and water/food borne infections.

The first half of March is a good time to visit Karachi - not too hot then. Airfare to Karachi is also lowest for that time of the year.
