I always wondered why doctors are getting kidnapped in such high numbers.
5000 dollar bhatta per month to Taliban warlords???
No wonder, this is partially where Taliban are getting their funding from. Extortion money.
And there is zero protection for doctors, and zero attempt by the government to prevent these $$$'s from ending up in terrorist hands.

doctors earn big in private clinics where they can charge anything. no rules no regulations…and no taxes paid.
