the plight of a nation that has infants and young kids, older people, women and men
a people, whose country was rich - whose pres had seen the worst of the international bigotry & deception, who him self was unethical, so now with a lot of external conspiracy and external rift - the brutality, in humanity & insensitivity towards the lives, homes, a sense of security in the hearts of these people, & the health of the country’s environment - all are destroyed. the only gain is hatred and revenge.
the stories which will come out of these displaced refugees’ lives are going to sadden and quiver out hearts.
is this not epiphany? is it not a tragedy? is not this axis of bloody evil? who is doing it and propagandizing that this is right? how will the man or men turn inside out in their graves, who have caused so much misery on innocent lives?
the scale and the reason and the truth behind the invasion of Iraq, has no match with the freedom fights in many Muslim countries.
bigots even get their own killed. raucous claims - all affluent and corrupt presidents can make. nothing will abdicate them of their torturous acts.
the question remains: do we as onlookers or fellow Muslims are not able of any help while our tax dollars are sucking life out of a country & the people who live there in? how can this be changed?

A lot of us discuss these things with each other (with fellow Muslims) and thats is it. We assume that its enough to talk about it. It takes our frustration out but still keeps us in our own circle.
We always forget to send our voices to others i.e. the govts, fellow citizens/non-muslims etc. Just in US, we have tons of small islamic groups and they're trying to takecare too but still we as Muslims couldn't do anything to prevent all that stuff from happening. Our own fellow muslims are killed/humuliated by our own tax dollars and we couldn't do anything.
You know why, because we aren't united. We have ego issues. It hurts us to follow someone else's lead. Why can't we form a one big Islamic group which can be much more effective and then try to use media and whatever it takes to send our voices to everyone.
I'm sure, it'll help. I'm sure, govts would think 10 times before making any decision. The awareness among the general public is the most imp. factor here. And it can be achieved only if we all work together.
what we can do to unite is to act on getting united, unconditionally.
sheitee, sunni, pakistani, indian-muslims, afghani, middle easterns, egyptians, african muslims, irani, iraqi, turkish, malaysians, indonisians, suadi arabs, syrians, jordanian, moroccons, and everyone else who calls themselves as Muslims and are living in predominantly non Muslim countries have to come together. and a unanimous voice defending our faith.
as for US govt., the way US is, it will has its fall because of its blood laden leaders and blind, conscience less greed-stricken capitalistic corporate American elements.
rest is up to the Maker.
i agree, awareness in the general public we deal with every day - in our work places and neighbor hoods, has to be brought about Islam and Muslims, individually.
